tickets at work?

I just logged in with my wife's work email and password. Disneyland hoppers are all $26 less than Disney prices. You buy them, they email you a confirmation (which is your voucher), you print that and take it to the ticket window. Easy peasy.

Way.com (which I've also heard of) is cheaper (saving $51), but you're taking a risk, since they're reselling convention tickets, which is against Disney policy. I haven't heard of anyone having a problem with them, but there's always a first. TicketsAtWork, if you have access to it, is completely legit, because they're simply corporate discounts.

I was considering looking into purchasing from way.com but I had no idea they re-sell tickets. Thanks for sharing that because I won't consider them anymore since they are going against Disney's policy.

I've experienced the same thing. Big savings until the taxes and fees were added. Then it was a wash for the number of days we were looking at.

How did you find out they are reselling convention tickets? I see nothing on the website.

When I bought them through a friends account it was cheaper than anywhere else I'd found even with taxes.

That means on a 5 day park hopper to DLR you save less than $7 per ticket (Disney price $300). That's better than nothing, but I can get better than that through AAA ($291.50). My daughter has an account at funex.com through her employer. A 5 day park hopper is $284. There is a $4 processing fee, but that is on the whole order--even if you buy 10 tickets, the processing fee is only $4.

I dont think my taxes and fee's were that high. Although I live in Oregon and we dont pay sales tax. Maybe that has something to do with it.

CA taxes are nearly 9%, so maybe that's the difference however, I hadn't input my address yet, so they didn't know I was in CA, but I was not actually signed in with a code (don't have one). I was just checking prices. Maybe when you're signed in with a code the fees are lower.

Every time I have used it, it went smooth and perfect. Just order online, get the e-ticket (no shipping charge or anything that way), print ticket and present at the ticket booth at the part or check in for the hotel. Good to go!

The Disneyland taxes and fees came out to approx 7.2% additionally on the order when I did the checkout. I live in Utah, and have no idea if that has any impact on it all?

As far as pricing goes, here is the comparison for my research for our upcoming trip in November:

DLR -

Child $244 x 1

I don't see Way.com reselling convention tickets either I would like some more info on that. Also if you all would like the code for ticketsatwork type in "cape" they are easily found via google.

I bought my last trip thru way. Com. They were regular tickets as far as I could tell. Nothing about conventions on website.

I also just got off the phone with Get Away Today. They are running a special for the 3-day hoppers for $244 for both Child and Adult tickets. That includes tax and shipping (unless you need expedited shipping).

The special runs through 8/9/13 for travel through 12/31/13.

$25 on 3 tickets comes to about $8/ticket savings. funex.com gives 3 (2 adult, 1 child), 3day hopper passes for $727.00 with the $4 transaction fee. Getawaytoday.com had the price $732 for the same configuration.

I guess we can summarize this whole thread by saying, "Disneyland generally doesn't give great discounts." In fact the only great discount I'm aware of is the military discount. This just means they don't need to offer discounts to keep up attendance. In fact this year was the first time since DCA opened that DLR didn't offer a "get 2 days for the price of one" for S. CA residents this last January to May. I think with the introduction of Carsland and the subsequent increase in attendance at DCA, they didn't need to offer this deal.

Premium--$650.23 (save $18.75)
Deluxe--$485.00 (save $14)
So Cal--$349 (save $10)
So Cal Select--$271.25 (save $7.75)

I have not seen any AP discounts/tickets at Costco for several years.
