tickets at work?

A lot of people wondering about the Way.com passes. Of course, no where on the Way.com site does it say that's what they're doing, but you can read between the lines a bit. Particularly if you look at the restrictions ...

First, you have to give them your name and your dates. This should be unnecessary for any kind of tickets. But notice this wording :

If we are unable to purchase the tickets for the dates you need, we will simply give you a full refund. However, Once the order is confirmed, there is no refund.

The only time I've ever seen these kinds of restrictions is on tickets purchased for a convention. Why do they need to know your name and the dates? The only kinds of tickets Disney sells where they want to know this information is convention tickets. It appears that Way.com is adding you as someone's "friends and family".

Magic Morning is included as a bonus on regular priced 3+ day ticket. Our tickets are super discounted so they don't include this bonus. You can consider the savings you get as the "bonus".

This is a half-truth. Magic Morning is included on all the regular 3-Day and up tickets Disney sells. Even resellers that discount tickets or add days include this benefit. The only time I've seen Disney tickets that don't include the magic morning benefit is when they're convention tickets (since they assume that you'll be at the convention the first part of the day).

Can these passes be upgraded to annual passes, and what is their value for upgrades? No. Our tickets are super discounted so they don't include the upgrade option.

Again, the only time I've seen any kind of a ticket not be valid for upgrading to an annual pass is when it is some kind of restricted ticket, and those are most often the convention tickets. Disney knows how much you paid, it's registered as part of the ticket. They can always apply the purchase price to any kind of annual pass. The only reason why they wouldn't do that is if they assume you won't be able to use it.

Don't get me wrong, they're a good deal, but there is some amount of risk there. I'm still considering using them for my upcoming trip. Particularly because they have the CityPASS for $299 now. :thumbsup2
