Tickets at Work & MDE

Is is possible to link tickets purchased from Tickets at Work to a MDE account? And would I need the actual ticket or could I use the emailed voucher?

Also if I understand correctly from the Ticket Sticky, the tickets from Tickets at Work are eligible for upgrade. Currently my employer is offering a 4 day/get 3 free ticket that will save me $105 on 2 child 7d hopper tickets. But I need a nine day ticket. So I am trying to decide if it is worth the $105 to purchase now and then add 2 days after we arrive. After the upgrade and adding 2 days my savings comes to $62.72. Hmmmm, decisions, decisions.... opinions?

2. That would work, for sure.
3. Maybe. I've not seen reports of anyone getting to input a TaW voucher number into MDE.

5. You would not be able to make advanced FP+ reservations on those last 2 days until you completed the upgrade.
You would then only be 7 (or so) days in advance of those two days, not generally early enough to book any
"tough to get" FP+ on those days.

I purchased through Working Advantage and had (almost) no issues. First, I'll say that I opted for physical tickets because I had about a month before my 60 day window and due to the price of the purchase, TAW would only send them UPS. They ship from MA, so if you're in the northeast, the transit time is pretty quick.

As for vouchers, I asked the same question about a month ago and the answer I got was "yes". Unfortunately, got it after I ordered So, seems like you'd be fine with this option, but I can't say for sure.

Finally, as an FYI, there was one slight hiccup with the whole purchase. For my family, I purchased 2 adult and 1 child ticket. When I linked these to MDE, the two adult tickets linked perfectly fine. The child ticket however did not show up in MDE. If I tried linking it again, it gave me an error that it was already linked to an account though. Inspecting the ticket showed that the child ticket was about a year or so older than the issue date for the adult tickets. I called Disney and after a fairly short time the woman was able to help and everything showed up perfectly fine.

All in all, I was happy and would certainly go this route again. Definitely turned out to be the cheapest (maybe not by much, but like $50 or $75 for the family?) and all was well in the end.

I checked my TAW on my employer's website and they are now offering a 10 Day Park Hopper. I only need 2 kids tickets for the grands as we have APs. The savings is 101.22. So it seems like a no brainer to purchase the tickets from TAW.

Now, if I can just get the airline to change their flight times to suit me (JK) and lower the fare since they are estimated to save $$ million since the drop in fuel prices I'd be all set. See you all at the Mouse in June.

Thanks for the info. I am considering buying the 5 day park hopper tickets through TAW. I was hoping that they would be able to be linked to MDE.

Can I bother you for more info on this? My MIL is going in Feb and bought her tickets through TAW. She showed me her print outs but I wasn't sure how to help her input that info into MDE. I was going to help her set up her FP+ but not sure how.

On the electronic ticket they send you it should say "disney confirmation #" followed by a bunch of numbers and digits. Log in to your MDE go to link tickets and input that number and it should link up.

The print out I looked at had one confirmation number for multiple tickets that she has to turn in to get the actual tickets. Will that still work? Thanks soo much for your help!

Correct. The email should say something like please take this to the ticket center to redeem blah blah. We bought a quantity of 2 buy 3 day get 2 free tix. When we put the confirmation code into MDE both of the tix showed up.

So as long as everyone in her party is linked to her MDE she can assign the tickets to each person from inside the MDE page and set up the FP+ 30 or 60 days out respectivley

I bought my 5 day park hopper tickets last night and got my E ticket number this morning. I went to the MDE site and linked them. Worked great. We don't go til Dec. so I couldn't do anything with the fast passes.

It saved me over $100 so I'm happy!

I just used this for my trip (got back last week), had no issues at all, we linked the number on the email to MDE, showed up at the park scanned our magic band and went right in!
You can take the email to will call and get actual tickets (cards) if you want, we did but only for scrapbooking
