Tickets at Costco

They have them at our Costco too.. (Greensboro, NC) and on-line. But they are only for Universal Hollywood, and Disneyland. Not the Orlando parks. :guilty:

My wife saw these tickets in store at Costco here in Kansas.

Almost exactly 24 hours after I got the Email from Undercover Tourist telling me that they'd shipped the tickets I'd ordered through them.

My Costco in NY has them  What is the price of an annual pass for a non Florida Resident??? Can I upgrade my tickets to an AP on the 3rd day???

Hey... are they to the parks in Orlando and not Hollywood? WS is only about 20 minutes away.

Thanks,

Orlando. Almost bought them but we don't need 3 days, only going for 2. They were right up front by the registers. First aisle with the candy and stuff. They were black cardboard things with Harry Potter on them.

I'm in Northern Virginia and I know that not all of the Costco here have them.

I saw them Saturday in Manassas and since we were on a road trip and had just stopped in for pizza I didn't buy them.

I went to the Springfield store and they never had them in stock. They looked up to see the closest store with them and I ended up going to Woodbridge to get them.

So you can either call around or if at a Costco they will check to see which stores have them in stock.

DH bought one today. I didn't see the packaging, but on the actual ticket I have the front says
Universal Orlando Multi-Day Ticket
Universal Orlando and Universal Islands of Adventure
Guest First and Last Name (please Print)

Guest Signature Required

(Guest counter signature is required for each visit.
It also states Photo ID required

Back:
Has Costco on it, states "this ticket is valid for both Universal and Islands for the length of this ticket" Valid any three days until 12/31/2013.
3 day +PTP . Access to both parks per day-CW included
There is a barcode.

We will be using this Sunday. It is a great deal since we are only doing 1, maybe 2 days and will be back before 2013. If you are planning on going before then I would start to buy these. I was going to buy the Mapleleaf tickets, but they would expire now, and we only plan only the 1 or 2 days so this gives us a future day also.

There is no designation of adult or child on Tix.
Hope this answers a lot of questions.

I'm in CO and I will be checking Costco next weekend (can't this weekend). Am hoping they just haven't made it inland yet. Sounds like a good deal so I'd like to find a pair.

While at Costco this eveing I read the little cardboard thing and was thrilled to see the tix are good for any 3 days between now and Dec 31, 2013. Even though we are only doing two days this October, we will buy the 3 say tix from Costco and bank the extra unused days for our HOPEFULL 2012 trip. Free days!

Just purchased them in a local Connecticutt Costco today. Bought 4 tickets at 134.99 each. What a great deal! When the cost of a one day/2 park ticket is only about 25.00 less than getting 3 days which don't expire until 2013...it's a no-brainer. Only surprise was that Costco doesn't take credit cards other than American Express.Thank God we had enough on our debit card. At least it's all paid for now. I have a question though... Can this ticket be taken right to the turnstilles or does it have to be brought to Guest services first? On the ticket it says that it has to be countersigned each time and have to show ID each time. Anyone use them yet?

It would be nice if Disney had a ticket like this too.

I live in California and really wanted to purchase the Costco tickets for our trip next month but no luck! My local Costco claimed they are only sold around the east coast area and when I called the store listed a few posts back, they had them in stock but you had to pick them up yourself. Bummer, such a good deal! :sad1:

Thank you Pmickus for starting this thread. I never even considered that our local Costco would be selling Universal Park tickets...especially a multi day ticket.:thumbsup2

I don't want anyone in the area to get too excited over this and wait but: sometime in the future the FL & GA Costco's are going to sell passes. Last year our local Costco's sold a 3 month pass for $89.99 they stopped selling them a few months before Harry Potter opened up. I've been told that they're getting ready to sell these again, most likely between $99-$109. This may not happen until after Haloween or maybe 1st quarter next year. (Jan-Apr.)

The 3 month countdown starts when you activate them at the park, it does expire (probably 2012) and from what I recall, there's no black-out dates.

I'll keep you guys and gals posted when I get more info on this pass. :thumbsup2

I was pleased to note that here in NC, there was NO SALES TAX applied to my purchase! A savings of $8.77 per ticket based on Florida's tax rate of 6.5%.

Has anyone in NY found them yet. I'm going to start calling around when they open.
