Tickets at Costco

Anyone know if they have them in any stores near Philadelphia, PA?
A relative will be going out that way.

I saw them just this week at the Costco in Montgomeryville. Good Luck, I'll be picking up a 5 pack myself!

Unfortunately, my 18 year old son won't be going on our trip:confused3so I have an extra 7 day park to park ticket I bought from Mapleleaf Tickets (very reputable agency) which they upgraded to a 14 day park to park ticket. I paid $132 for the ticket, so that is what I am asking for it. I am using the rest of the tickets I have, but this is will save you big bucks over the other prices I've seen for similar tickets. If interested, please email me at joalexajeff@aol.com.

Thanks, JoAnne

I was able to return mine when Mapleleaf came out with the 14 day deal. There was a 10% fee but still very easy and worthwhile.

Thanks for the tip but when I called
Mapleleaf they said the ticket could not
be returned. The guy I spoke to said the
Ticket will not expire and that I should
photocopy the back of the ticket as the
Serial number on it will be honored until the
Ticket is activated.

Unless the ticket will no longer be available it says right on the site it could be returned. Have they changed that in a few weeks?

Yes, after a reread, I misunderstood your dilemna. I bought from Undercover Tourist before I saw the deal. For 4 days base tickets it was more then the 14 day at Mapleleaf. I did get a refund quickly from Undercovertourist as their website states (minus the 10%) Mapleleaf states they won't once the tickets are shipped. Too bad.

I appreciate you trying to help. It must be the fact we are both from New Jersey :) We are known for our friendliness hahahaha.

I checked on the Maple Leaf site just to be sure and the 7 day park to park are now $185. Ouch! So perhaps someone will be interested in the 7 day park to park ticket I have in hand for $132.

Where in NJ are you from? We live in Washington Township, Gloucester County.

Does anyone know if any of the Costcos in the Tampa area have these tickets as well? Thats where we will be flying into and only have a couple hours to swing by a Tampa location (before it closes) on the way to Orlando before going to the parks the following day.

I really doubt Tampa would have these. FL residents get different discounts.

I had a friend of a friend pick some up in NJ. She said they are selling there for $139. I hope she got the right tickets!

I checked the Maryland Costcos two weeks ago, with an employee's help. Beltsville and Gaithersburg did not have any. Glen Burnie and Frederick had quite a few. So it seems pretty random even within a fairly small geographical area which stores have them.

We purchased ours in a Connecticutt store but first checked one in Massachusetts which was a little closer. The one in MA didn't have any...the store employee said that they didn't get any because they weren't selling.

I read the whole thread and haven't seen anything about stores in the Chicagoland area. I'm going to CostCo in Schaumburg on Wednesday so I will see if we have anything there. It seems midwest stores don't have the tickets though. :sad2:

Sorry if this is a silly question (new to US/UIOA, visited once years ago) but what does the 3 nights access to City Walk include?

I thought it was free? So you need access to go eat at one of the restaurants there? :confused3

If not free what is the cost for entry to CW?

TIA

It is just the cover charge for the clubs at night. You can do the stores and restaurants and everything else without any charge for access.

Wow, thanks for such a quick response.

OK so if we don't have a CW pass, we could still go to say Margaritaville and hang at the bar?

Excellent. Thanks again for the help.

We aren't really "club" people so I don't think the CW pass is necessary for us, but we do enjoy having a drink or two (or three:thumbsup2) at bar where we can meet and chat with others.

The Costco by us has the Universal Passes and we are trying to sort through if it's a good value for us. I THINK what we may do is purchase one of them now, then also purchase an AP next year to hopefully get an AP rate on a room. If the AP rate doesn't come through, then we will just look for the next best rate on a 3 day pass.

Sorry to have hijacked this thread, my questions came up because of the Costco tickets that are available. ;)

We just got back using the Costco tickets, thanks to this thread. We spent 2 days at Universal; one day exclusively at IOA and park-hopping on another day (IOA in AM and Uni in PM). We only had one minor issue when using the tickets. Since the tickets are not differentiated by Adult/Child, the TMs at the gate were a bit puzzled when they saw our children's tickets and asked to see all our tickets. On the second day, we simply informed the TMs that we all had adult tickets and our entrances were a lot smoother and quicker.

I examined the discounted ticket display at the Costco in Livonia, MI and did not see the 3-day ticket. It was just movies and restaurants.

I bought 5 tixs at Costco for our trip. They worked great. I didn't pay tax since I bought them in NY. We hopped back and forth between parks with absolutely no problems. I hope Costco continues to sell them. Great deal.
