I'm hoping to get clarification on my thoughts regarding buying an AP for the first time and using the discount for one of our BWI rooms (we'll have 2). I assume I can have 2 rooms booked in my name on separate reservations under different rates for the same stay? I can just link both to my
MDE and assign the appropriate F&F to each reservation? I will activate sharing with all too and we'll assign the appropriate CCs and PINs for charging at check-in. Anything I'm not thinking of there?
If I go ahead and reserve the AP discount at BWI for the one room and purchase the AP for myself only (others will have individual tickets of their own, which we will link accordingly to my MDE) before we arrive, do I need to enter EPCOT to activate the AP before checking into BWI? So, we'll land at MCO, Uber to BWI and then I just have my family hang out until I pop into the park to activate my AP and head back to BWI to check-in?
My other question is with regard to MP & LLs. If I link my AP to my MDE but don't activate it until I enter EPCOT on arrival, can I still book MP & LLs 7 days prior to check-in?
Oh...and can I make park reservations for my AP before activating it? Am I correct that since we're staying at BWI I can make reservations for the length of our stay (i.e. 6 or 7 park days for a 7 night stay)? This would be the Incredi-Pass, if that matters. There aren't blackout dates on that one, right?
Please feel free to throw anything else at me that I may not have considered or should be aware of as a potential rookie AP holder. I don't know why it feels more complicated to me, but it does.
