My parents purchased paper tickets about 6 years ago. Can they just link this to their MyDisneyExperience account? Thank you!

I currently have a 4 day PH ticket with the Disney + free dining promotion package. Can I add a 5th ticket day to this package?

You should be able to add a 5th day to that ticket, which I believe is a regular 4-day PH. Whether you can adjust the package in advance I’m not sure since I don’t think that deal is still available for booking. You may need to call.

The new 3 day, 3 park special ticket-it says "Ticket may not be used to enter the same theme park more than once. " Does that mean there are no "in and out privileges?" Could I use the ticket to enter Hollywood studios at opening, then go back to my hotel for an afternoon break, and then return to Hollywood studios that same night till closing?
Thank you.

You still have in and out privileges for the park you enter each day. The restriction is that you can’t enter the same park on two different days with this ticket.

I hope this isn't as dumb a question as it sounds like in my head.

I am an AP. I am playing with the new Multi-Pass to get used to it, and am wondering, it seems to be letting me choose my attractions. Of course I'm not taking it to the end where I pay. So my question is, when I do the MP it asks the date of course. Is that my reservation? Or, do I need to make a reservation for a park and then do the Multi-Pass? I'm not sure if it will stop me at the purchase part because I didn't make a reservation.

Hope I explained this clearly. TIA for any help

You do need to make a park reservation in this situation.

If we book a Free Dining package through Disney but we have Annual Passes. Can I not use tickets and then use them for $ value on our next trip? Seems to have done this in past. So basically I don't want to lose value of 4 day park hopper. Just pay difference next time I am done.

Probably a stupid question but here it goes.
We have AP If I buy $250 or $300 worth of stuff at World of Disney does the 10% come off the total OR is it 10% per item

Why do they seem to have no issue with restricting people who purchase annual passes and activate them within 365 days from making park reservations on the trip if part of that trip falls 370 days from the purchase. I'm staying on-site at Beach Club, but couldn't make park reservations, and therefore couldn't make Lightning Lane reservations for most of my stay, because we activated the pass 362 days after purchase. Getting little assistance from guest services to match up my passes to those in my party that didn't need park reservations.

I'm not sure I have an answer, but just to make sure I'm following your situation:
1) you bought an AP last year (Aug 2023)
2) you didn't activate the AP until very recently, which was almost one year after the purchase
3) you did (or didn't?) make theme park reservations for some of your park days? all of your park days? none of your park days?
4) you couldn't buy LLMP/LLSP

When you purchased the AP last year, it was actually a voucher. That voucher expired one year from when it was purchased. If your trip started very close to that expiration date, the computer wasn't able to recognize that you had an AP (or would have an AP once activated) that extends past the voucher expiration, so it didn't look like you have a valid ticket for those dates until you arrived and activated the AP voucher.

Disney just instituted the expiration of AP vouchers a couple of years ago when APs were brought back. They apparently want to curb people from stocking up on APs but holding them for several years to activate later. I'm not sure of the circumstances that lead you to buy the AP voucher almost a year before a trip, but I'd keep it in mind for the future.

You did follow everything, and I did make park reservations for the 2 days that it let me. It also let the entire process of purchasing the lightning lanes appear to work perfectly, for my entire party of 9. After it was all over days later I noticed that only 6 of us had them as it cancelled them for those of with APs. It was nothing to ‘keep in mind’ for me 1 year ago. It is something they should have kept in mind in implementing this new system, allowing park reservations 372 days after purchase of annual pass vouchers, while keeping the 365 day expiration.

Unfortunately this has been an issue for APs with trips butting up against expiration unable to make theme park reservations for a few years now.

My point of “keep it in mind” was more if you might purchase AP vouchers again so far ahead of a future visit. At this point WDW doesn’t seem interested in dropping the theme park reservations requirement for APs.

We are headed to MNSSP next week, and I have not been to MNSSP in 12 years! I bought tickets online for my five family members (who are not regulars and do not have magic bands), and the tickets are showing in my app under "Tickets and Passes." Is that all we need to enter the party? Can I just show my phone for all six of us and that's it? I am just so used to scanning fingerprints and magic bands that just showing my phone seems too simple! Is that all it is? Someone suggested on the Halloween party thread that I should get paper tickets because people will be mad if we enter this way. If necessary, how would I do that? We are staying offsite this trip. TIA

Yes, you can simply show your phone - but you’ll have to swipe through and show each ticket individually as each member of your party enters. As you can imagine, that will take a bit of time at the gate and delay those behind you in line. Thus the suggestion that you go to any park ticket booth or to the Official Ticket Center in DS and get a card for each ticket before you enter the line. That will allow each person in your party to scan their card and enter, keeping the line moving.
