I sent you a PM. I am the OP who had some concern about these tickets, I did purchase them and used them last week and had NO problems with them scanning at all.
I hope this helps.

We had an awesome vacation. Universal was fun!

Did you print your tickets or order them by mail? I ordered ours last week and am waiting for them to be mailed and was wondering if they look like regular Universal tickets? Because that seemed like a group sales link, I wanted to make sure they don't say "group" or anything.

I am not certain. Tickets bought using last month's discount code from Mousesavers (no longer valid) apparently had to be used by December of this year. But when I received the actual ticket in the mail from Ticketmaster, no such restriction appeared on the ticket. And nothing in my confirmation e-mail mentioned an expiration date. I cannot remember anything about blackout dates. However, the current (valid) discount code does not bring up any mention of expiration or blackout dates.

I suppose the safest course of action would be to check with customer service for Ticketmaster and/or Universal regarding any restrictions on these tickets. I'm not too worried myself, since we will almost certainly use all our tickets on our next trip, but it would be a bummer to have to postpone a visit and then find out your tickets will be worthless in a few months.
