Ticketing and FP + dilemma

I am racing the W&D 1/2 and already have my ticket booked through run disney. My wife is a TA and can get a discounted 5 day PH ticket for $76 less than what I can get her a ticket for through run disney. Only catch is TA rate tix are will call only so she cannot book FP+ until her tix is picked up and linked to MDE. I think it's crazy,but we are seriously considering spending the extra $76 to be able to book FP. Would anybody else do this, or have you had success booking for 2 ppl last minute?
