Hi all im sure you sick of me by now but I must ask the universal experts this question as thats how I plan to learn.
Im going in july and buying a 1 day 2park pass with the express pass option and was wondering, As we go thru the park can we with that pass go thru the parks as we like as in back and forth between the two parks or is it once we leave we cannot get back in without paying again?. We hope to visit universal first then the islands using up all our passes for express and then returning to the rides we like and riding again Is this possible? Do I need a handstamp to go between the parks? thanks again for your speedy replies and again sorry for bugging you all

It is like a parkhopper so you can go back and forth between the parks. They have been experimenting with eliminating the handstamp so I don't know whether they will have it when you go or not. You will need your ticket though to go back and forth.

When we were there third week of may I was surprised to be told no hand stamping just use your ticket. My parents had tickets and we had AP's. Wouldnt handstamping be a quicker way to come and go? I guess thats what they are testing huh?

The other thing I noticed last weekend was they were using hand held scanners instead of the finger scanners...which rarely work. I hope they are going to stick with the hand helds since it moved people right through the gate!

I noticed the same thing except we found the end turnstiles were the only ones using the hand held and the line moved MUCH quicker! Each time we arrived we searched out a TM with the hand held scanner.:thumbsup2 For some reason we all can never get through without one of us having the finger thing not work. Its not always so I cant figure it out.

Yeah, they're trying to spead things up at the turnstiles. I seems to be working.

I have never understood why, when you have valid multi-day tickets or length of stay ticket, do you need a hand stamp?

In our case my parents had the 7 day ticket that we printed out at home on a regular piece of paper. We had it folded up to fit in the window of a lanyard but sometimes they wanted the paper out and opened and also required them to sign (to compare signatures?) each time we entered either park. It would have been much easier to just get a stamp in the AM at the first park we entered then to go through that each time we changed parks in a day.
