Is it possible to upgrade a single or multi day ticket to the Sorcerer's pass if the ticket is used during blockout dates?

And when staying on property …is advance purchase for LL or LL SP available with advance booking window or is that for Deluxe perk only ?

Not sure but I don’t believe there is any one day ticket discount for DVC.

The ability to purchase LL multi and single pass 7 days in advance is for all WDW guests.

The new LL premier pass is only for deluxe guests.

It’s more that Disney designates all DVC as Deluxe.

As far as I know you can’t do it any more unfortunately.

Those cannot be upgraded to an AP.

Not totally correct. I upgraded mine in 2023, over the phone no less.

I’ve read that others did so in 2024 in person.

However a lot of persons was declined to upgrade, it can be a hit or miss.

I was told by a supervisor that they were no longer upgrading these since they were already heavily discounted, and that “a memo had gone out” to ensure that it was followed. This was early January.

I am just passing on what I was told, and we asked at four different GS locations.

While I certainly believe you are reporting what you were told accurately, it makes no sense.
If they were so deeply discounted, they could recoup that discount by charging the difference at upgrade.

Agree. Military Salute tickets are highly discounted but can be upgraded. The credit towards upgrade is simply the original cost, no “bridging” of the discount.

I think the issue with the UK tickets is more related to currency conversion. It can be done but apparently some CMs maybe don’t know how so think it can’t be done. There is no equivalent US ticket so there is no “savings” to upgrade and depending on exchange rates could end up “losing” value from when initially bought.

This is another ticket question for the new Member Magic Beyond for DVC .
I was going to purchase the 5 day park hopper because I needed to make a park pass reservation . I wanted to know if I would be able to change it to upgrade to an annual pass ( my current pass expires 4/27 and I needed 5/16 park pass but my AP renewal date is complicating …and preventing that.
According to Member Services, I can not exchange the ticket for Annual Pass .
They do not have that option in the system with MMB .
I guess I just assumed all ticket media was interchangeable .

You can’t convert it to an AP with points, but the T and C say they can upgrade to a regular AP.

So, I don’t think that is correct.

I’ll read the terms&condition fine print and try calling again.
I did find the fine print specific state the value of any separate ticket media may not be used toward the renewal of an existing Pass.
I also would probably have lost the discount for renewals that Disney includes during the renewal dates.
