I purchased magic your way tickets (8 days hopper) through Florida orlando tickets. Does anyone know if I can add water park option? Where can I do this? We are staying outside the park for 4 days and inside the park for 5 days.

Yes, you can add the WPF&M option as long as it is a regular MYW ticket. This can be done at any Guest Relations location (theme parks, water parks or DTD) or at the Lobby Concierge desk at any Disney resort.

(If the water park is not your first activity of the vacation) Do the upgrade from inside a park, or otherwise after using the ticket. Then the cost is that posted above ticket booths.

If you modified an unused ticket then a trade-in takes place and the trade-in value of your original ticket may be less than gate price depending on where you bought the ticket. This causes the cost of the Water Park Fun or other upgrade to seemingly be more.

You can upgrade your ticket any time within 14 days of the first time you use it. Because you bought your ticket at a discount ticket location, you'll definitely want to use it at least once before doing the upgrade.

Easiest way is at one of the water park ticket locations. We don't have long lines and we are very used to doing this upgrade.

Be aware that as long as your ticket is partially used the only cost will be the doifference between the current gate price of your ticket and the current gate price of the upgrade (plus tax). If you had purchased the ticket fron a discounter/broker or from Disney before a price increase Disney will absorb the price difference between the original selling price and the current gate price.

Even if your ticket was purchased at a discount, you will only pay the cost of the upgrade, which to add the Water Park Fun & More is $50.00 plus tax per ticket. Your ticket does not have to have already been used once. Either way, Disney will see that your ticket was purchased at a discount (if that is the case) and will absorb the extra cost. You are not penalized for buying tickets at a discount.

As far as where to do this, I would visit your resort's lobby concierge. The lines are often relatively short (at least compared to the parks) and they do this type of thing on a daily basis. Just remember, anything you don't use (park days, water park and fun visits) will expire 14 days from your first use unless you add the no expiration option.
