Ticket upgrade question

Sorry, we're coming down to the wire (leaving Wed morning) and I realize I still have questions. UT has a 4 day plus one free ticket. We need five days and may upgrade to seasonal but we would have to do it on the fifth day because we would like to see Mannheim Steamroller on the fourth night. Will the fact that we are on the "free" day prevent us from upgrading the ticket on the fifth day? Also, the e-tickets come almost immediately, right? I don't have to worry that it's too late to order from someone other than universal, do I?

You'll be fine. I bought those tickets and they were mailed to me as regular 5 day tix. Nothing special about them, upgrade away!

I have purchased disney etickets from them in the past and yes I believe they came fairly soon, like within an hour or so.

DH upgraded a 4 day ticket bought from UT to a seasonal last week and was given a $5 universal gift card for the price difference! (This was not the promotional 2+2 ticket though.) You should at least get credit for the 4 days, and if it comes as a straight 5 day ticket as crazywig got, perhaps a bigger refund.
