Can I upgrade my ticket twice while on my trip? For example, can I add the water parks and more option to my base ticket while I'm there on my trip, and then upgrade my ticket to an annual pass at the end of the trip if I decided to do it? Also, some people have told me I have to upgrade my ticket before I first use it or else I lose the full value of my ticket? If that's correct, then I would have to head to Disney Springs Guest Relations before I can head to the parks. Is this correct? TIA

1. Yes. (Or more times, if you like.)
2. Yes.
3. 100% incorrect.
4. Incorrect, so the point is moot.
I can say that tickets can be upgraded at any ticket booth or Guest Relations outside any park, or at TTC, as well as at Disney Springs.

Robo if you're out there paying attention - can you tell me how to move/ hide tickets? Just booked FD with 2 day tickets but I don't want to use those tickets this trip - want to use 10 day PH we already have (and will upgrade to APs). So I want to save the 2 day tickets and don't want to run the risk of them being used "by accident". Isn't there a way to create another person and assign those to them or something?

OP sorry to ask on your thread - didn't want to start a whole new one and was hoping that Robo in his infinite knowledge would be able to explain it to me...

Just stop at guest relations and ask them to prioritize the tickets you want to use before using a ticket. There is a guest relations outside of every park and usually not too long of a line. Ticket windows can't help in this case.

Yes to both. I *think* that you would have to upgrade to a Plat Plus pass if you use your waterpark entitlements.
Also, some people have told me I have to upgrade my ticket before I first use it or else I lose the full value of my ticket? If that's correct, then I would have to head to Disney Springs Guest Relations before I can head to the parks. Is this correct? TIA
No, it's exactly the opposite. You should use your ticket at least once and then it will have the current value of the pass instead of what you paid for it. The pass' upgrade value does not diminish as you use it.

If you use any of the water park and more features, you can only upgrade to an annual pass that also includes those features.

But, what I want to know is, if you use any of the water park and more features, can you only upgrade to an annual pass that also includes those features?

;)

LOL that was exactly my next question. I guess I know my answer now. I should've known better that Disney would close any loopholes to save Guests some money haha. I wanted to use water parks for my upcoming trip but have no intention of using water parks for our next trip in January because it'll be too cold to swim for my little ones. Did the math and I don't think it's worth it to upgrade to a platinum plus AP.

You never know about January. We had DVC PAPs for a couple years when they were super-cheap and we went to the water parks in December.
