Ticket Upgrade Question

I'm planning to upgrade my 4 day base tickets to an Annual Pass today. I have 3 Disney gift cards totaling $50 each. Can I apply those to the AP and pay the rest with my credit card? Thanks!

Yes.

Depending on WHERE and WHEN you bought your 4-day tickets, you might want to USE them to enter
a theme park BEFORE you do the upgrade.

Robo, for some reason I want to hug you today. I was using my Target card to buy gift cards. You know, buy groceries and sneak a Disney gift card in there. I know it only saved me $7.50 total, but that's almost 2 Dole Whips.

Robo, for some reason I want to hug you today. I was using my Target card to buy gift cards. You know, buy groceries and sneak a Disney gift card in there. I know it only saved me $7.50 total, but that's almost 2 Dole Whips.

Hugs are being accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.

One thing you can use 3 GCs, but I've heard of CM give people a hard time sometimes about it. Because to do more the 2 (or 3 maybe) forms of payment apparently they have move the 3 GCs to a "any value" card for the total of the 3, then use the Any Value card to buy the tickets.

If you are staying on-site is MIGHT be easier to put it as a room charge then apply the GCs to your room. Same end effect at the end of the day.

If the person at the window says it can't be done, ask for the manager. It can be done, it's just complicated.

Using 3 gift cards in one transaction is one kind of payment.

Using 24 gift cards in one transaction is one kind of payment.

Using 24 gift cards and one Visa card in one transaction is two kinds of payment.

There may be some CMs who just don't know the above. (Most do.)

The situation that IS a problem at WDW is trying to use more than 2 gift cards as payment over the phone.
It can be done, but guests need to call Ticketing Guest Services to do so.

It was not complicated at all. See my above post. Took all of five minutes at the Magic Kingdom. I updated my Magic Band same day and it was in the mail when I got back from Disney.

I have been buying and stashing $50.00 gift cards to pay for my package with free dinning in Nov. Can I just apply them online one at a time or do I have to call the special number?
