Ticket timeline question

If I order MYW tickets today for an off-site trip starting on March 26 will I get serial numbers to go ahead and set up FP+ or do I have to wait until I have the tickets in hand? How long does it take to receive tickets if ordered from Disney?

Opt for will call instead of having them shipped, and the tickets should automatically link to your MDE account when ordered.
