Ticket Questions

Hi,

I don't know what sort of ticket to buy for my upcoming trip, and was hoping that some of the more organized minds here on the DISboard could help me out .

I currently have: 1 PH with 2 days and 4 plusses on it, and 1 PH with 3 days and 4 plusses on it. I'm going to be there from 11/10-11/14. The next scheduled trip will be in December of 2006, but I don't know how long that trip will be.

Should I use the PH's I have? Should I trade them in for current tickets? Should I buy an AP (I thought somewhere I read that I would would still be good in December of 06 if I buy it in November of 05, but that can't be right, can it?)? Can I trade the PH's I have for an AP? Will I lose the Plusses?

I'm so confused!

Depends on the date of activation.
Some tix are activated upon purchase, some on the first day they are used at park.

Good for 365 days (366 in leap year), starting at date of activation.

I think it's the plusses that make it difficult. If you trade those tickets in for new tickets or for AP, I'm pretty sure you will only get dollar value for them. They are probably a much better value to you if you use them. It's very hard to evaluate until you know how long you will be there in December and what you'll want to do. It also depends whether you think you'll be returning after December 2006. If it were me, and I thought I'd be returning, I'd probably use the tickets, then in December buy new never expire tickets, use whatever I needed from them, and then save them for a return.

Use what you have now. You'll be there for 5 days, and that's exactly what you have.

The plusses don't give you ANY credit toward upgrading.

Then, just buy what you need for your next trip.
