Taking a very short trip. Want to visit water park on 1 day and next day visit 2 parks ( park hop) . Am I correct to buy a 1 day park hopper with water /sports option.

Used to think I knew how to buy park passes

If you didn't want hopping, a 1-day base theme park ticket and a separate 1-day waterpark ticket would be slightly less expensive. But since you specify park hop, the Park Hopper Plus is your best option. A breakdown of the pricing:
  • Depending on the date, a 1-day base ticket will run you about $120 - $150. Good only for the 1 date selected.
  • Hopping for a 1-day ticket is an extra $65 regardless of date but good only on the 1 date selected.
  • The Park Hopper Plus option, which includes hopping and a water park, is an extra $85 when added to a 1-day base, but you do have 2 days to use it.
  • A basic 1-day waterpark ticket is $64 or $69 depending on date.

If the OP is a DVC Member (and eligible for Membership Extras) as their screen name suggests, they can purchase a 1 day water park ticket for $49 plus tax (blockout dates are from May 28 to October 2, 2022 and May 27 to October 1, 2023). AP holders can also purchase for the same price.

thanks for the quick answers I am planning on attending members night July 14 at Hollywood studios so water park during the day and them the next day 2 parks in one day. I will sleep on the way home
