If I buy a 4 day pass and need to add a 5th day can that be done? Do I wait till I get down there or can I add it online or on the phone?

Pre-arrival, tickets can only be upgraded if part of a room and ticket package over the phone.
(I think resorts technically swaps your 4 day ticket with a 5 day they have in stock, so they don't actually "upgrade")

Otherwise, normal MYW tickets can only be upgraded at WDW (before you used the last day of your ticket)

Unless you have a package the tickets need to be upgraded in person. The only problem with that is you wouldn't be able to make fast passes for that 5th day until you upgrade at WDW. Make sure to upgrade before you enter the parks on the 4th day.

I think I'm just going to buy the 5 day pass ... It's only a matter of 16.00 ... Do they still send you a ticket in the mail or is it linked to your magic band? It's been awhile since I've been! Lol

If are buying them directly from Disney, I don't think you will even get a Magic Band unless you are staying onsite. I know you won't if you are staying offsite. You will receive a voucher that you can use to pick up your "credit card type" ticket any guest services location or even the ticket booth at the first park you go to.

You will receive a ticket number that you can use to reserve FP+ or ADR's before you get there. They will go on your account and be on your "card". I think you can pay extra for a Magic Band, but, I personally think it is a waste of money.

To add on to the original question... If I have a 5 day ticket from Undercover Tourist & buy a ticket to Mickey's Xmas party will I be able to make fast passes for 6 days.

Make sure to upgrade before you enter the parks on the 4th day.

They can upgrade after they enter the parks on the 4th day. They can upgrade to the 5 day on their way out of the park that night.
