This is probably already asked somewhere in the DIS, but, can you buy a 10 day park ticket and then buy a 2 day to get more days (for 12 days total)?

You can buy as many separate tickets as you want, you just can't add more days past 10 to a single ticket.

I don't know the price point, but it may be financially better to get an AP.

Annual passes are $749 - for us it is cheaper than 14 days of park tickets. We will be there for 2 weeks and always get park hoppers so the AP will be cheaper for us.

As is often the case, the CM you talked to was wrong. You cannot add more days to a 10 day ticket.

You can always add extra days to a ticket as long as there are remaining days let (or on your last day) but you cannot add any days past the tenth day. 10 is the limit before you have to go to an annual pass or buy a separate ticket (which is usually not the best deal). A ticket does not have to be used to add extra days.

The annual pass also includes your photos (like memory maker) so if you would buy that normally that can help too. We got APs for DH and I who would be using 6 and 9 park days this year over 2 trips. The cost savings wasn't huge but once you added in that we wouldn't have to buy hoppers or memory maker it made a difference.

Normal tickets are valid for 14 days or until entitlements run out, so you could take 2 days off.
Or buy a MK after dark or Party ticket (if possible) for one extra day
Or add on Water Parks and more and use Water Parks on your "off" days.
