Last time I went to Universal, we ordered our tickets online at the Universal site, and had to print them off ourselves. We ended up with tickets on plain paper, and had to go to guest services to convert them to the little plastic cards, because I was afraid they'd fall apart. Total waste of park time.

I'm thinking of ordering through undercover tourist this time. Are they tickets paper, or the plastic cards?

Undercover tourist sends you actual tickets.

If you use the print at home version, lots of people just put theirs in a ziploc or print out a few just in case one falls apart.

Plastic cards are not used any longer for any type of ticket. The tickets from UT are on actual ticket stock as you would get at the ticket windows.
