Ticket Question

We have the Harry Potter Package booked for our trip next week. We have 3 day park passes, but my DH wanted to add park-to-park option when we check in. Will we be able to do that at the hotel? We're staying at Portofino Bay.

I'm in the same boat, we have already bought 2-day one park only pass and we want to add one more day, could it be possible?

You will need to do any ticket modifications at Guest Services at either park...not at the hotels.

I don't want to loose precious time in the morning to deal with tickets!... Is it possible to do that without entering the park? (We will arrive around 6pm the day before for checkout at the hotel and I could head up to park entrance and upgrade my tickets before park closing)

Yes. Guest Services is outside the parks and as long as you get there before closing (or soon after), you will be fine.

I called Guest Services and was told that you need to upgrade tickets at the parks. Our problem was that we are not getting in until 10:45pm. They told me that Guest Services would be open until 10:30 pm and open at 6:30 am. We have a 3 day basic ticket and we are going to upgrade to a park to park. It will cost us $15 per ticket, so $30 total. I figured it was worth it because of all of the posts I've read about the crowds in WWOHP. This way we can go in the morning and leave when the crowds get bad and go back later in the day.

If we have two day tickets for just one park per day, can we upgrade to park to park access after the 1st day? We thought that we might want to go back to HP the 2nd morning before heading over to Studios. Dont want to spend the extra if we dont feel we want to do HP again.

Just upgrade before you leave the park that first day. It shouldn't take a long time and you would be all set for the second day.
