Ticket Prices Increasing June 12th!

I bought my tickets today through the Half Marathon tour company. I was planning on waiting another month or 2 also but didn't want to risk a higher price.

OK...in case anyone cares. We went down to Guest Relations at DLR today (the windows next to the exit). They said no. There is no way to buy a voucher if you are physically at DLR, only APs. Since we have active APs, we cannot buy a Deluxe pass at today's prices and add my DVC discount.

I care! Thanks for taking one for the team and saving me a drive down there. Though to be completely honest, I had already decided I wasn't up to driving down there on the off chance I could get the discount and bought vouchers online. But you've made me feel like I haven't missed anything.

We leave in 9 days. DH & I have AP's, but sis and her hubby need to buy 5 day PHs. I was able to call her and tell her to do this today, to get the lower price! It'll save them a few bucks!

Want me to white sheet you? I work in a psych hospital- have to white sheet you to commit you. The color of the paper is white hence the term. There are also blue and pink sheets but those are for MDs and law enforcement.

I was saying in another thread that I found myself warning my friends (who were planning on buying tickets before the end of summer) about the sudden ticket increase with the same urgency I would use if I were warning them to jump out of the path of a train. "Hurry! Run for your life! Get your tickets now! Don't wait!"

I chuckled because it seemed like - based on my urgent tone - that the ticket prices were going to be much higher than they will be. Like instead of what the increases will actually be per ticket, you'd have thought that the prices were about to skyrocket to $100 more per ticket from the way I sounded.

One friend didn't reply at all. She is probably grumbling and cursing Disney at this very moment and trying to figure out what to do to afford the trip. She already thinks Disney is "greedy" anyway, so this won't help that opinion.

My other friend said with a scowl, "Great. Soon it will be $1000. Just to get in." He now wants to skip getting Hoppers and instead go for the less expensive multi-day, one park per day option (even though it's only $15 less per ticket than a Hopper). I told him the Hoppers are worthwhile to have and will allow much more flexibility, but I think he will go for the one park per day thing just to save a few bucks.

I had that problem with my MasterCard, and then I tried it with my debit Visa and it went through. I also have a Canadian address so that may be the problem. Maybe try another card? They go up tomorrow so they may be swamped.

So I'm online now, about to buy 3 Deluxe AP's. But then I saw that there's a separate line for Deluxe AP and for Deluxe AP Gift Voucher. Any idea what the difference is? I thought both got you a voucher. Should I purchase the one labelled Deluxe AP Gift Voucher?

We need these for November, and want them to be active Nov - Nov. Thanks.

The gift voucher is for gifting it to someone or say you want to get the voucher because you already have an AP that doesn't expire till later this year and want to get the cheaper price.
If you select deluxe Ap you will also get a voucher/e-ticket to take to DL turnstiles and then take it to the AP processing center and get your card. Long story short they both won't be activated today but when you go in Nov.

Changed my mind. When you get the DAP, they require full ID information now. Just in case, I'm gonna get the Gift Vouchers. Seems the most flexible.

I am using a mastercard, but I don't want to use my Amex because I have trip insurance on my mc (just in case I have to cancel the trip for some reason).

Do you guys think the prices will stay low until midnight?

I'll keep trying, but I'm wondering if I should phone mastercard and see what's what.

I'm also trying to buy WDW tickets but I can't even access the site.

Frustrating. I'm so nervous now.

Thanks to the OP for the heads up. I was going to get tickets through my wife's work ($189 5 day hopper) and upgrade to 6 day hoppers once we got there (her work doesn't sell 6 day hoppers). After reading the OP it made much more sense to just get the 6 day hopper tickets today online.

I just bought 3 using a Visa, and it went right through. Do you have a Visa card? What happens when you use your MC? Is it denied, or what?

I'm sure it should work until midnight. I'm wondering and thinking that it may work until someone goes on-shift tomorrow AM to change it.
