We are going to disney and are trying to figure out ticket options.

Is it possible to buy a 6 day MYW base with no hopping and use two tickets on one day to gain admission into two parks? We are thinking that we will only want to go to one park per day but just in case we decide we want to go to another park we would have that option?

Another question I have is; AAA is selling 5 day Park Hopper with no Expiration, is it possible to add the water park option on to these tickets when we get to the park paying the $50 upgrade instead of the full ticket price. I am assuming that AAA just sells disney tixs and they are no different than buying them at the gate?

No, you cannot do that.

Without the hopper option you can only enter one park per day. If you try to use your ticket to get into a second park, you will be denied entrance at the turnstile.

Thanks I was wondering this same thing myself. Another thing I wonder is If you leave and go back to the same park on the same day do they charge you 2 days for that? How can you tell if you are only getting charged one? We will be leaving midday and returning later that night, but will just stay if it costs 2 admissions. Same question on waterparks and more options.

The same mechanism (computer data base) that denies you entrance to a second park on the same day using a non-hopping pass will ensure you are not charged a second day for re-entering the same park.

As far as water park fun goes:

Blizzard Beach in the morning, leave for lunch, come back, then Pleasure Island at night -- consumes zero park days and two plusses. With or without hopping.

I think that nowadays (2006) if you buy a pass at a discount from non-Disney sources, if you need to modify the pass such as add hopping, you have to pay the full difference between gate price of what you want versus (roughly) the price you paid for what you had originally.
