I can get 3 day hopper passes from AAA for $149/adults, and $119/children, for a total of $566 for our party. The AAA tickets include one EE and free Mickey and Friends parking. We will have a rental car, and are staying at the new Doubletree, about 1/2 mi. away.

I can get the same tix for $53 less from my credit union, with no free parking or EE.

Is free parking and one EE worth $53? The AAA info. says: One early entry into a designated theme park. Does which park is designated for EE depend on the day or what? Where can I find the EE info. for June 12 - 16?

Of course, I could just buy one ticket from AAA to get the free parking, and the other 3 at the lower price, and save $39 and forgo the EE.

:confused3

TIA!!! :thumbsup2

In June, which is likely to be busy, I think the EE itself would be worth the extra cost, especially when you factor in parking. I don't know the cost of parking, but if it is $10 a day, I would say the additional $23 for EE would be worth it if you want to do Fantasyland at all. Just my opinion - hope it helps a little. I'm sure other people on here will know the cost of parking so you can do the math.

Just looked at the 2nd half of your question - EE is always into DL (specifically, Fantasyland, Matterhorn & Buzz), and it is on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday every week.

I can't help with EE. I'm local so I've never purchased a multi-day pass to get EE. When we visit, we arrive at park opening and go directly to Fantasyland to visit Mickey's house and ride Dumbo. That has always cut down on the crowds enough for us. Parking is $10 per day. I think your idea of purchasing one ticket for free parking is a great one! That's how I always buy our AP's to amusement parks.

Ooo! I just realized that was my 100th post. Should I be happy or depressed that I could have spent those computer hours at DL? :surfweb:

EE has no monetary value, but is a great opportunity to ride Fantasyland rides without a long wait. EE is only Disneyland and is available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It is one hour before scheduled park opening. Fantasyland is open, as well as (most times) Buzz Lightyear and Space Mountain.

Parking is $10/day (i think) so for 3 days that would be $30. It includes in and out privilges meaning you only pay once (per day) even if you leave to go back to your hotel in the afternoon and return later that day.

Parking is $10 a day, but I bet the Doubletree has a shuttle to the park....

Anyway, paying for EE is only worth the money IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE IT!
I know for my family, there is no way in heck they would get up early and be ready to go and standing outside the gates by 6:45am!!!! Not a 1 percent chance that would ever happen!!!!!!! So for us, it's not worth it. But if you plan on going to EE, then I would say the $23 is totally worth it. From what I've read, you can see more in that 1st hour than you can see all day.

So I would say if you are really going to use the EE, then get your tickets with AAA.

Good point. Everyone really has to be on board if you want to use EE on a day that DL opens early anyway. No one wants to be dragging everyone kicking and screaming out of the hotel room so you can "get your money's worth".

On another note, if you do decide to do the EE, Ridemax has a list of the order to do the Fantasyland rides in during EE to get the most done with the least waiting.

The best benefit from AAA is that you get the unlimited fast pass. That may make it worth it to you.

You should be able to get the EE with the package from your credit union. You should check on that.

Parking is $10/day, but it sounds like you could easily get to the parks without even driving.

The unlimited Fastpass is only if you stay onsite & book through AAA. For that matter, if you did that you could use EE every day it's available, but I'm guessing you would be looking at a lot more $ for that.

Thanks for all the in-put. My family will not be up for a 6:45 EE either, and it's actually $53 more for the EE/free parking tix, not $23. I will check with my credit union and see if their tix offer free parking as well. Thanks again!

This is where I got $23 from:

$53 (extra cost) - $30 (for free parking) = $23. (Parking is $10 a day x 3 days = $30) So in reality, the "cost" of the early entry is $23.

Ah ha...now I gotcha - thanks.
