Hello. The last time that we visited WDW, I saw so many people with these necklaces that they kept their tickets/room keys in. Some of them had trading pins on them. Can anyone tell me where I can buy these necklaces? I'm sorry if it has a special name---I don't know what they're called. I'd like to buy some before our next trip to keep our plastic tickets in.

If anyone can help me, I'd me most grateful!

They are called lanyards.

Teacher supply stores also sell them, but often they are a bit more blingy (like a necklace), so you wouldn't be able to attach pins to them.

The lanyards are for sale in every resort/park gift shop. You don't really need to feel pressed to get them before your trip. You will see them for sale EVERYWHERE.

The clear holder that you saw people's tickets/fastpasses in are usually sold separately (for about $5.00) and clip on to the bottom of the lanyard.

If you want actual WDW lanyards & pouches, I did see them for sale on disneyshopping.com last week (look under "Authentic Theme Park Merchansdise").

I have a WDW lanyard, but I got my puch from Acadamy Sports...it is waterproof and a little larger than most. But, we always go to Typhoon Lagoon, and I keep my room key, ticket, a little cash in it...can hit the wave pool without any worries (except of course getting bowled over by the great waves!)

Thank you so much for the replies. I will stop by Staples to see if they have the lanyards.

Awesome!

They sell the disney ones on Ebay also. Most come with some starter pins. You will probably get them cheaper on Ebay. if you have kids that may want to start collecting and trading pins, I would suggest getting a lot thru Ebay to trade so you are not paying the BIG prices at WDW. We have an extensive collection of disney pins and lanyards. My teenagers still like trading and my Dad who is 69 is a trading nut!!!

Good Luck!:santa:

For her birthday DD got plastic sting and a booklet to make bracelets, keychains and lanyards.

She makes them for all her friends in their favorite colors.

It might be something that you or the kids would like to make as part of the WDW memories.
