ticket linking question

Hi all!! I am trying to help my FIL get set for his trip to the World. I want to double check before I go ahead and spend lots of his money!!

If I buy his tickets TODAY on Disney's website will I be able to link them to his account today and then make his FP+ ressies? (He is within his 60 day- he's staying onsite).

If the answer is YES is it fairly easy to do? I'm assuming I will need some kind of number from the tickets to link to his MDE.

Yes, you should be able to. It is very easy to do. You will get a number code that allows you to link it to the MDE and from there you can make all the FP+

Also, if you are signed to to his account when you buy the tickets, or if you have FIL listed in your friends or family on you account and are signed in to your account, the website will ask you at time of purchase who the ticket is to be used by. All you have to do is click his name and it will be linked automatically. If something changes between now and the trip you can also go back into his account anytime before the ticket is used the first time and reassign it to anyone else in the friend and family list.
