Ticket Linking Confusion on MDX

I feel like I've screwed up linking my tickets. Traveling with a large group to include my kids. My son has his own MDX account and I have an account set up to manage everyone in the whole party, including my son. We've had these accounts for a few years and there there's a lot of "junk" profiles in them. I guess it was how the reservations had been set up. So, for instance, for my son, there are two people listed in my list for him: Mr. Joe A. Smith and then Joe Smith. I think last year I used Mr. Joe A. Smith for him, and the year before when he went on his solo trip, he used Joe Smith.

So last night I was linking my MVMCP tickets. I was signed in under my account and linked them for our group of 4. Linked my son's ticket to Mr. Joe A. Smith. I then logged into his MDX account and I cannot see his ticket linked to his account. I realized that he uses Joe Smith on his account. I went back into my account, reassigned the ticket from Mr. Joe A. Smith to Joe Smith, it worked. In my account it now shows the ticket linked to Joe Smith. Under his account, it shows no tickets linked to him.

Is this how it's just going to be since I linked all the tickets under my account or is something wrong.

If you have the hard, plastic Party ticket or even the printed out eticket, Joe can get into the Park for the Party.

You don’t have to hassle with calling Disney.

I do have it, but I'm wondering if it should be showing up under his MDX account or did I mess it up? It shows him linked under my account.

If you have it showing in your account, then the data is there.

And if you can Reassign it and then move it back, that means you are managing the ticket. I wouldn’t worry about it because it will serve its purpose at the Park entrance.

Okay thanks. I am managing it but you'd think it would show up under his own plans.

I had people listed twice on mine, at the bottom of your friends and family list there was a number that said if people were showing up twice, or to remove people it gave a number for IT. I called and they removed the duplicate ones

Thanks! I was able to remove the extra people myself, only because I think they had different names from different trips. For instance, my parents are in there because last year I managed them and when the resort set up their reservation, they CM also used the Mr. and Mrs. title. This year, the CM did not use the Mr or Mrs and just their names. My mom set up her own MDX account and used her name without titles. Now, I've got them as friends both ways. It took me awhile to figure out that for this trip with will just be their names which will be tied to their new magic bands. It was easy enough to delete the other names with the Mr. and Mrs. because MDE viewed them as different people. I don't think I have an issue with the same exact name format listed twice.

I'd just really like my son and my daughter to have their MVMCP ticket showing up in their "plans." My mistake was not logging into that account to link them and linking them all through mine. I just hope they don't have to bring the pass with them the night of MVMCP. I could always stop at guest services when I get there and have if fixed, I suppose. When I get my regular park tickets I'm going to be much more careful!
