Ticket frustration

My DH and I are DVC. I have my AP. We are going the last week in July. We were going to buy my DH his AP When we got there. I called Disney and asked if he would be able to buy a ticket when we got there and they said they don’t know. Ugh. We don’t want to go if I am the only one allowed in the park. We have our room. We have our airfare. We have no idea what to do.

I bought a gold AP online on Sunday.

AP are available online now for purchase. When you called MS you asked if you would be able to buy a ticket and that is why they told you that they did not know. But AP are still available.

Thanks. He’s trying to figure out now (after reading the boards) if he wants an AP or just a few day ticket since there is going to be a glut of points that have to be used next year. He’s thinking next year we should pass and bank our points and go in 2021. Ugh. So many unknowns.
