ticket discounts for your guests?

I remember seeing something about DVC members guests can get a discount on certain park tickets upon check in. Is this true?

The only discount is for the UMP or LOS or whatever they call them these days. It is 10%.

If your question goes to what discount is available to DVC members, see the above. If your question goes to who and when in addition to the member can get that discount, then rule is any guests staying in the same room as a DVC member can get the discount (and despite that rule, they also give the discount to any guests staying in another room at the same resort as the member is staying as long as the member made the reservation for that guest using points--and the member should plan to be present when the guest needs to buy tickets).
