Ticket Discount

With the talk of potential ticket discounts, anyone care to hazard a guess on when they would take effect? We have multiple annual passes to purchase for a mid-August trip and I'm willing to wait 'til the last minute if there'd be a chance of a discount. Seems like that would be a bit to quick for the wheels at Disney to turn. But there is always hope !

just got the DVC newsletter - I could not find anything - the next issue won't be out until August - so unless you want to take a chance and miss your renewal discount - you could wait.

Unless you think Disney will raise ticket prices before mid-August (I don't, FWIW), there is no advantage to purchasing annual passes before your trip. There are no discounts on regular APs/PAPs, so it sure doesn't hurt to wait. (There are discounts on seasonal passes for Florida residents and also discounts for those in the military, but most of us do not qualify for either of those).

Personally, I will be shocked if DVC announces any new ticket discounts for members in the near future.
