Ticket Dilemma

Advice appreciated! Going in June for 5 nights and I am trying to figure out which is the best. We get Hoppers but don't need Water Parks since we'll be there for Beach Bash. So should we do UNdercover Tourist 5-day for price of 4-day Magic Your Way and then upgrade to DVC Gold when we get there so we'll have Hopper? Or buy UT 6-day w/ Hopper and upgrade on last day to DVC AP Gold? Thoughts/comments? Or just get the 25th Anniversary tickets (which don't really seem like a great deal)?

It sounds like your plan is to get an AP, correct? Then pick out the UCT ticket with the greatest discount (they show that on their website) that still costs less than the Gold AP. Use that ticket for at least a day and then upgrade to the AP anytime before you leave. If you haven't signed up for a Mousesavers newsletter do that - they have a special link for discounts to UCT.

Note that when K4D says "still costs less", that means that the gate price of the ticket is less than the Gold AP, not just the price you pay UCT.

Just to make sure: if the ticket wallygirl buys from UT includes WPF&M, is it correct that as long as none of those entitlements have been used, the value can still be used to upgraded to a gold AP that does not include those?

I think that is the case, but others probably know for sure. However, it is important to know for sure, since the PH + WPF&M look to be the ones with the largest discount on UT

That is how it's been in the past and I have not heard that it has changed but perhaps someone will chime in who has done that recently.
