ticket dilema?

bought a 1day park ticket for christmas day, but family is unable to make this trip happen. No idea what to do with ticket. will disney refund money? or what do i do now?

Usually a stand-alone ticket is non-refundable. You can certainly ask. But most likely they'll tell you to use it as a credit towards a future ticket. I suggest keeping record of the ticket number and value, because that information may disappear from view in MDE but WDW will still be able to access it when you are ready to buy another ticket.

Keep the Ticket or numberin a safe place. From a conversation this weekend for an issue with a non expiring ticket with a Ticketing person they are shutting down the old system since there is no way of telling if the ticket was purchsed on the new or old system I would say take every precaution you can.... There is issues with new system they claim download issues but it seems more disappearing issues.
