ticket and short cut questions

I've been reading and reading and we are looking forward to our August trip--I appreciate all the information here!

Two points of clarification--

1) I'm buying two (non premium) annual passes. Then I'll also need one four-day pass and three seven-day passes. Should I buy them on line for $10 off or at the gate for 15% off? (15% sounds like a better deal, but I can't find the "regular" price anywhere."

2) I've google mapped an aerial view. So one just cuts thru the Hard Rock parking lot and it's a lot shorter? I've stayed at the Portofino before. It's a very pretty walk, but it does get a bit long sometimes. (And I have no patience (clearly a personal problem ) to wait for a boat when I NEED to get to WWOHP--or to jump into the pool!)

Yes, to cutting thru the parking lot. There will be a small gate back there & I want to say it is near the side of the pool area.. if I remember correctly.

As far as the regular rates, when you go online and it says to save $10 off gate prices, it isn't showing the gate price? Try calling them to find out, I would think someone in ticketing could help you..

As for the ticket price I just assumed that you would add $10 to the ticket and then take 15% off that. That is how I did my math but we just ended up buying FL Resident tickets for my DB since it was less that way for a 2 day pass.

no need to remind me.. of course I know it is the HOTEL.. why else would there be a small gate on the side of the pool. There is a back parking lot to that hotel & that is where the walkway is....... I also think OP realizes it too...... that was his question....

There is NO PARKING LOT near the Hard Rock Cafe'
