Tiana's Place

I'm not too excited about the veg offerings. But my top 3 favorite desserts are pecan pie, bread pudding and bananas foster. Since I'm going to be eating all the desserts, it's probably better for my stomach if I don't eat too much off the "meal" portion of the menu anyway.

I have been off the boards for awhile and last cruised in 2014. What and where is Tiana's Place?

I'm a huge artichoke fan so I'm interested in the artichoke ravioli, but I am surprised there aren't more vegetarian options. I'm totally with you on the desserts. I may just have to skip all the other courses and go straight for the desserts.

I have heard if you mention to your servers that you are vegetarian they may be able to offer more options than what they have on the menu..! I'm considering this next time we sail too even though I do eat meat, I don't like it at every meal.

I would have loved to see mini-muffulettas or mini-po'boys as appetizers, but I can see how those would not have been served in Tiana's Place.

But no gumbo? No etouffee? For real?

Thank you for sharing! I have been waiting for the menu to be released. It looks fabulous to me. :flower1:

There should be a vegetarian Indian option each night, but ask the server ahead of time.

Just watched The Princess and the Frog with my 6 year old DD. Cannot wait for our cruise! I actually gasped when saw Tiana's actual restaurant in the movie. The chandeliers and "skylight" are spot on! Can't wait to meet Louis and Tiana with her new beautiful dress!

I did not let my daughter know why we were watching it. I keep everything a SURPRISE for the rest of my family.
