I have to say, that picture of the deck on the flatbed truck makes me laugh for some reason. It's just funny seeing a structure already put together moving around like that I guess!

I've been trying to download that comptroller link but it won't load for me. Now I'm anxious to see what the parking situation will be!

It might mean nothing at all that I don't see the parking there. It could be there, and I am just not seeing it with my non-site-plan-reading-expert eyes!! lol I was just surpised when I first saw the plans that there were actual parking spaces along the main road, and no obvious parking by each villa. I'm not real concerned or anything, the parking will be very close either way, I love that!

I wish I knew for sure if I was allowed to post the site plans themselves on here, it would be nice to have them right in this thread to refer to.

Yes, we are excited to be spending Christmas in a Treehouse and then heading down to the Keys for New Years. It was around 0 degrees this year at midnight on New Years with the wind chill at home and went DOWN (!!!) to 78 degrees in Key West at midnight. I think I can handle a drop like that!

Hi All...I actually just booked AKV for sept. and was planning one finishing up my stay reservation next week with OKW and BCV but the lovely MSR suggested that I book our home resort (SSR) temporarily to make sure we have something so I got a THV for the next week and now I'm second guessing if maybe I should keep some of the ressie there! To still be able to use my points to the best value I would not do OKW and instead do 3 more nights at AKV and 3 at THV. I'm a little concerned about the walk for check in and check out...does anyone know how long it really is? I will have 5 kids with us at the time 10,10,7,4, and 6 months. I wonder if that will be a big walk for them or if there will be other options. I figure it would only be for check in and out since there will be buses to the parks unless of corse they want to use the pool at SSR. Never been there even though it is our home resort. Kids loved the pool at OKW and I know we could hop there. Have any of you stayed at both? How would you compare the pools for the kids? I think they would find it very exciting to stay at THV even if only for a few nights..I was so surprised it was even an option..thought the points would be higher...what a nice surprise! All input welcome!!!!!

Congrats! I don't think anyone is sure about the check-in arrangements yet, but I think we all agree that DVC will provide some type of transportation from SSR to the treehouses. Golf cart has been mentioned as a strong possibility.

JMO but I think you should stay at your home resort - at least once!! I really like OKW, but I love SSR!! I don't know how to compare the pools, but the main pool at SSR is great, and the "quieter" pool by Grandstand is lots of fun too! I'm sure your kids would love the SSR pools just as much as they love the OKW ones.

Looks like a HC ramp on the southern building of 138C servicing a single building

IF you look closely on the undeclared area of page 74 you can see a ramp serving 2 units

I guess that confirms the configuration of the HC access.

It does look that way, doesn't it? I have heard there will be parking for one vehicle by each THV. (but I don't know if that's been confirmed yet.)

It really does. I mean some of the pathways (that's what I'm calling them now) leading up to the villas connect right into a parking spot, so there's no way that is a road to drive on...unless this is some unique setup...like the master bath shower/tub. You have to drive through a parking spot to get to the road.
