Thunderstorms On My Trip - Yikes!!

We're leaving on Wednesday Aug. 20-27th and just found out that there is thunderstorms the entire week!!! (60% the 1st day and 40% the rest).
My son is really disappointed since he was looking forward to enjoying "alot" of time in the Poly pool.
Oh well - at least we'll still be at Disney right????

You can pretty much count on thunderstorms every day this time of year.

If you don't like the weather, wait 30 min. It will change!!

Every trip we have thunderstorms on each day. Still there is always plenty of time to enjoy the pools as they are usually in the afternoon and brief.

We went June 25-July3 and they only closed the Poly pool once...the storms lasted maybe a half hour, and the trip was magical even with the storms. One night we went to Epcot in a thunder storm, we threw our Mickey ponchos on and thought the crowds would be light...boy were we wrong, thunderstorms or not the crowds are ALWAYS out!

It usually rains every day during our trip for brief times throughout the day. However, it has rained constantly for three days this week. The pools have stayed open. But it is difficult to enjoy the parks.

Myself & DS are arriving Monday. Aug.25 the from L.A. where it is beautiful! right now. I was wondering what they do after big storms to clean the pools??? Just sweep for leaves probably. I read the news on MSN earlier about the gators and snakes that have been washed out of their hiding places Sure hope they don't find us!



Anyway, 3 more days...Fay you gotta go
