Thumper and Miss Bunny Meet 'N Greet at AK??

Hello,

Today I saw on MDE app that Thumper and 'Miss Bunny' were doing a Meet 'N Greet at AK.

I know Thumper is from Bambi, but who is 'Miss Bunny'?? His mother???

So excited to see other Disney characters doing Meet 'N Greets!! Our family has met over 160 characters & are always excited to add new Disney Pals to our autograph books!!

Hi!

As I mentioned above, our family has met over 160 Disney characters and almost all their autographs. Nearly 200 if we include Star Wars characters.

What app would you recommend for us to keep track of the characters, including when & where? Being able to include our pictures would be great, too!

Miss Bunny is Thumper's girlfriend / mate. The one he gets "twitterpated" over. Watch the end of Bambi again. She and Thumper are my favorite characters of all.

Something seems strange about this idea--- Thumper and friend are animated animals--- not like pooh, who is a stuffed animal, or like others (The brer rabbit group) who are kind of humanized animals in stature)--- They don't have a Simba meet and greet, while Timon (who has a humanized stature) can be seen in the parks. Seems a little easter bunnyish.......

We saw them in the park on our first trip in 2011.

We use Kenny the Pirate's app to track characters. He says they were retired in 2012, but maybe they're coming back?

ETA: They're not showing on MDE's schedule today, so I assume they're still very rare characters and not likely to be a daily occurrence. Maybe they were doing a character training yesterday?

We saw them back in 2009 together in the old Camp Minnie and Mickey area and then we saw them again in 2011 near the entrance of the park along with Brer Bear and Brer Rabbit. I thought they were a norm at AK for M&Gs, did they get rid of Thumper and Miss Bunny for a bit and now are bringing them back? Haven't been to AK in a while but plan on returning on our upcoming trip and I know my kids will be looking for them there.

Thumper & Miss Bunny used to meet daily, but are now random characters. The pop up at the Dinoland Dance Party and sometimes at DAK's park entrance. Since they're not out daily, it'll be very difficult to know set times in advance. Keep an eye on the Disney Experience app, the Cast Members sometimes add those random characters when they're available (which is what you saw).
