This is great information. Those of you who have stayed in Windsor Hills please keep the information coming.

It takes about 5 minutes or less to actually get on WDW property. Animal Kingdom is the closest park. It took us about 7 minutes to get to the parking booths. Epcot and DHS took 10-12 minutes. MK is the furthest away, but it still took less than 20 minutes (probably around 16-17). We stayed at Pop on our last trip and rented a car. I would say driving times to the parks were not much different than when we stayed at Pop.

Love it! The time to get there doesn't seem to differ vs Disney transportation. I'm fact it's probably quicker!!!!!

We stayed at WH in June and loved it, but we are a vacation home family...can't cram us into a hotel room for too long or it isn't fun. We found it so clean and well kept! If you are going to MK valet your car at CR and walk over it will save you a bit of time getting in and out of the park. We found the commute to all the parks so fast.

We are here now and we absolutely love Windsor Hills. We stayed here 6 years ago on our last trip and we certainly don't regret coming back. Magical is having space to spread out and still like each other at the end of the trip.

The pool wasn't crowded, the drive wasn't any worse than if we stayed at AKL or villas, and when you compare prices, well... there just isn't any comparison.

I don't think that I will ever convince my family to stay on site.

We are planning to valet park at Polynesian and Contemporary. Did they give you any issue? What did you say at the gate? I figured I would say that we are valet parking and then we are also planning breakfast at the hotels that morning too!!
