Thumbs up for Teva Sandals

I've been wanting a pair of Teva for some time, what style do most buy, I think I tried on the Teva Terra-Fi style and like them, anybody have these? I was at Sierra Trading Post web site and they have this style on sale for only $39.95, reg. 74.99. I was thinking of buying from them, they have a good rating thru BizRate. Also have lots of Tevas on sale. Here's the link. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/EU...e+matchallany&track=true&sid=4217D3002FC2E17F

I tried on some Tevas yesterday. They seemed pretty uncomfortable where all the straps join at the upper part of the foot.

Bluenoser,

Thanks so much for the info. of where you can buy Tevas. I had just e-mailed the company asking where in Canada I could purchase some.
So again, thanks!

I have always had fantastis experiences with Sierra Trading Post. I have bought Tevas for myself, as well as other shoes and sportswear. DH buys a lot of his work clothes on the site, great discounts on irregular Carhart work clothes.

Thank you for the info, I just ordered them from Sierra Trading Post, can't beat that price and will have plenty of time to break them in, now need a pair for DS.

I tried on a pair of Pretty Rugged" but hesitated to buy them because of all of the straps. Won't they rub and cause blisters?

Have to tell you guys. Dropped by Sports Authority just to try on a pair. Clearance rack for $29.00. .... I am now the proud owner of a new pair of Tevas.

I have never been a fan of sandals in the parks but I may have to try it this June. Has anyone gotten blisters or had a bad experience with Tevas? Advice on breaking them in ... time period?

wow, these are some nice sandals but $65? I can't see myself spending that much on sandals, i could buy sneakers for that price. Maybe I'll be able to catch some on sale off season. :)

They are completely worth every dime!! I think they are even more comfortable than sneakers when it comes to all-day walking. They are cooler, lightweight, they dry quickly if they get wet, toes have room to move, good arch support. Obviously, everyone's feet are different - so give them a try. You have to think of them as more than "sandals" - they are "comfort insurance"! Of course, it is always an added bonus to find them on sale! ::yes::

I bought my Tevas on ebay last summer. They are ugly shoes but awesome to walk in! I've worn them all over Disney World and never got a blister or any kind of problem. My feet never hurt at all.

I want to buy a pair of sandles for my husband and I to wear to wdw but I am concerned about buying a pair that had no back. How will the say on your feet for certin rides like the two dragons and free fall? I am just wondering if anyone had any suggeation. I am a total shoe freak i will wear sandles all year long. The Tevas look good but dose anyone know if they sell them in maybe my area like at a shoe store or wal-mart, or target

I now have Husband totally siked

They sell Earth Shoes at Wal-Mart. They are incredibly comfortable.

Based on everyone's recommendations, I have bought a pair of Teva sandles, specifically, the Terra-Fi. There are so many different kinds of Teva sandles, are these good ones? What kind of Teva sandles do you recommend?

Tevas Rock! I wore a pair last year hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon! I had worn boots several years ago on the same hike, and ended up with bruised toenails from the constant downhill. The sandals were soooo much more comfortable, and did not cause any bruising or blisters! We're going back to the Grand Canyon in April, and I plan on wearing them again!

The tevas I have are called "pretty rugged". They have adjustable velcro straps. All of the straps have a soft, spongy type of padding to prvent blisters and rubbing. Mine are women's, but they also make men's with back straps also. There is no way they could fall off on a ride!

I have never tried the thong style tevas - I always thought the piece between your toes would hurt after a while in the park.

I also love my TEVA's for Disney. Had them for 6 years!

However last year I got some Chaco's and like them even better than TEVA's! TEVA's sometimes rubbed the back of my heel (not often) but Chaco's don't.

Just bought Teva's at Sports Authority for 19.99 on sale! What a bargain.
