Like a few others, I've been purchasing Target electronic GCs at a discount on reseller websites so that I can use them the purchase Disney GCs online. Last week, I bought a lot of them because some were listed for as much as 7% off the face value. I have never had a problem with the GCs before this past week. In two of my orders, ALL of the GCs had been zero'd out before I could used them! Fortunately, Raise has a 60-day guarantee on the GCs that they list, so I contacted their customer service via email and in less than 2 days they refunded my money back to my credit card. No hassle. No forms to fill out nor further explanation was necessary. :thumbsup2

I know that a lot of people - and I was one of them - are reluctant to deal in "secondhand" GCs. But I have to give Raise .com props for handling this so quickly and easily. I was sick to my stomach over the money lost and I wasn't sure how long or involved the dispute process would take. I even contemplated opening a dispute with my credit card company. Thankfully, Raise took immediate action and I have since re-ordered Target GCs to replace the bad ones. I'm breathing a lot easier now that all is well. :goodvibes

This is great to hear, and great to know! I always try to use them asap after I buy them because of that exact fear. The 60-day guarantee is great to know about - I always meant to look into their guarantee and never got around to it. Great to know they stand by their promise.

Great to hear how they responded! I have been using these types of sites (not just Raise) for a few years now and while I've never had any problems with the thousands of dollars of gift cards I've ordered, you just never know. And you hope, if something was wrong, the company would make it right.

I, too, once had an issue with Raise and they solved the problem promptly. I eat at Chipotle frequently and bought a $100 gift card and after only using about $20 worth the next cashier told me my balance was zero. I KNEW that it was wrong. They didn't even question me what so ever and refunded me what I 'think' I was owed. I honestly didn't know the exact amount I used since I couldn't find my last receipt but they gave me back exactly what I should have been given back no questions asked.
