I'm going to dodge out of this discussion. I tried to speak up as an alternative opinion from an ACTUAL camper (not someone expressing outrage over something that will never affect them) who doesn't feel throwaway campsites are something to worry about, even though I would NEVER use one and we will always stay on site.
But at this point, this all seems as futile as convincing my children that they shouldn't be whining "it's not fair" when someone gets something they don't, especially when that person got it fair and square.
It's time to get over it, peeps. I'm the ONLY camper on this thread who had a weekend they could not get that they wanted. And since WHEN is it a given that you will ever get every night you want at any resort at WDW when booking about 65 days in advance?
But enough people here who don't even use tent sites or have not actually truly been inconvenienced by not getting dates they want are insistent that this is a major issue. Sounds far more like sour grapes to me. And since I probably have to hear "his cookie is bigger than mine" several times tomorrow, I will save my energy for the preschoolers.
I hope everyone gets every night/reservation that they truly want, and I hope everyone rides all the rides they desire. My gut tells me just about everyone will.
