If we book a room for one night ( we will actually use it), will we be able to book FP+ for the entire trip offsite?

I have no experience in this matter but have read on the boards that some have said you can only book FP+ for your stay so that should entitle you to the day of check-in and the next day check-out so you should be able to book 2 days worth of FP+.But again I may be wrong and I'm sure someone else will correct me if this is no longer the case.

I think you're right. I have a six night room res and I am able to make FP+ for seven days.

As far as I know, unless you are an AP holder, you will only be able to book FP+ for the duration of your stay on-site. Someone will be around to correct me if I'm wrong. :goodvibes

Well crap. I'm in the same boat as you OP. We are staying off site 5 nights and on site 1 night. I was hoping to be able to book all 5 days of FP+ since I have tickets for 5 days. I'm not sure where I got that impression but that really sucks if it is the case.

You are absolutely correct in your assumption! :thumbsup2

I am pretty sure you will be able to book for the duration of your ticket linked. You will be able to book your checkin day and checkout day 60 days from your checkin. Then for the rest of the days you will have to go in each day 60 days out and book one day at a time instead of being able to book all days at once like you would if you were onsite your whole trip. Make sense? I'm in the same boat and booked my checkin and checkout yesterday but have to wait and book the other days until I'm 60 out from each one.

I think you can do all days. We had one night at Pop and then stayed offsite and bought tickets that day. We were able to select fast passes for all four days, even though we has already checked out of the room. the ticket loaded right onto the MB from the MDE app and we could pick them all out. so I would imagine you could do it before hand too.

If you don't mind my asking when was your trip? I thought I read that this was a loophole that Disney had closed but could be wrong after reading so many posts about FP+ they all seem to run together in my mind;)

Would it be possible that it may allow you to pre-book all days but after check out day the other days may disappear?

Again just curious if this has been done recently and all days were allowed to keep FP+ selections even though you were no longer onsite.

I was able to book fastpasses for my offsite days on my trip a few weeks ago. We had 6 day park tickets and I was able to spread out the fastpass bookings over 10 days (despite only being onsite the first 4). If Disney has closed the loophole, it's been closed very recently.

We're staying onsite for 5 nights (booked package with 10 day tickets) and are moving off-site to a home rental when my in-laws arrive. When our window opened up, we were able to book up to 10 days worth of FP+ within the two week window that our tickets are valid for.

Thank You! I am sure the OP will find this very helpful. Did you book 60 days out or closer to the trip? And if 60 days out did you have to wait for the window to open for the other days and if so was it 60 or 30 days out?

In our case, I could book the days we were onsite all at once when we hit the 60 day window. For the offsite days, I could book FP+ as we hit the 60 day mark for each separate day.

It isn't a "loophole" , at least not acc'd to the rep I spoke with on the phone. As a matter of fact she encouraged me to book the first night or two onsite so that we'd have fp for our entire trip 2 week trip

I consider it to be very much a "loophole."

I'm in the "not a loophole" camp. I wouldn't be surprised if offsiters get advanced FP+ as early as the next month or two. Disney knew from the beginning they would get it eventually and are probably enjoying a nice little spike in on site bookings as a result of the so called throwaway room. It isn't an onsite perk, onsiters just happened to be the first in line for the rollout.

When you book the one night, do you have to book the one night plus tickets to get the MB's for your whole party? Or do you book just a room and get the MB's and you can buy your tickets elsewhere, like UT and link them? We will be using the room, but just for one night before moving offsite. TIA

yes you can link ut tickets, that is what we did.. but your tickets need to be linked to get the fp+ advance booking...

Loophole def'n - an ambiguity or inadequacy in the law or a set of rules.

The cm told me that Disney has no problem with people booking a night or 2 onsite to use fp for the remainder of their trip since they will be " rolling out " fp bookings to all eventually, It isn't ambiguous, Disney intends it so it isn't inadequate ...they are encouraging it which means it isn't a "loophole ' at all !

We were originally going to use the throwaway, now we're extending by a few days instead.....something we would not have done. they are making more $....yup they wont be happy and will be feeling its a loophole LOL!!!!!
