If this was a response to me, heck no, I'm not booking a throwaway room at Atlantis, we're booking excursions, and paying out the wazoo for the whole trip, so my mom can have a great experience while she can still enjoy it. Before you throw stones, maybe you should ask instead of assume, but yes, I am judging my own standards; just like there are those that are saying too bad if you don't book by 60, too bad if some here don't meet those standards. I'm far from perfect, but certainly try to live my life as well as possible without hurting others in the process. Taking a campsite and not using it means someone else can't, and yes, maybe it's someone who can't afford anything more. How much clearer does that have to be made? I don't even know why I was stupid enough to come back to this thread, because clearly almost everyone here thinks this selfish and inconsiderate practice is fine and dandy, and are able to justify it by saying it's not against the rules. Well, just because it's not illegal, doesn't make it right. How pathetic.
It the room, campsite or whatever is fully paid for for the time how the person that got there first and was able to book it is up to them as long as they don't damage it. Booking is first come first served always has been that's the way it is. I see nothing wrong with not using what you paid for.
Now booking soe thing to get magic bands and then cancelling once they are received that is wrong as nothing has been paid for.
