Thrill rides where you sit alone

My granddaughter just started riding roller coasters and is talking about riding Space Mountain. It got me to thinking that she may be OK with them because she is sitting by one of her favorite adults, but what would she do if she was sitting alone? What rides would that be? I am thinking Space Mountain, Tron, Pandora -- are there others?

Not that I can think of. I think you've captured the 3 where a guest sits 'alone'.

My daughter has special needs and we worry about her getting upset and trying to “escape” from a ride without warning, so we don’t let her ride on any rides where we can’t be right beside her. Flight of Passage is not a problem. Yes, you are technically on a separate seat, but it is close enough that until very recently I would always put my hand on top of hers on her handlebar for the entire ride and could even reach her shoulders if I needed to. Tron is also not a problem because one of us always takes the rear seat with her. Just tell them that’s what you want, and they’ll direct you to the line to be put in one of those seats, anyone can request them. Space is the only ride at the 4 parks that I can think of that we don’t let my daughter ride because we can’t be right beside her.

If you are riding Tron, you would be on the "bike" next to her, if you don't do the seat in the back.

I would say Tron and FOP you aren’t sitting alone. You still have someone beside you. Just a little space in between. Not quite the same as SM where the other person would be behind/in front.

As @Mle8308 mentioned. You could request the bench seat on Tron so someone would be right beside.

When my DS was you get and starting to ride coasters, he was very anxious. For SM, we had him sit in the middle seat and I could it behind and touch his shoulder. Another reason why DL’s SM is so mich superior. imo, you sit side by side.
