Thrift Store Challenge

We have Clothes Mentor here too. I LOVE that place. Great deals. I am another who buys tons of clothes from thrift stores. It isn't that I can't afford to buy my clothes from Macy's, it just seems silly to spend $40 for an INC top there when I can get one at the Goodwill for $3. The thrift stores here don't put out clothing that is in bad shape, those piece get sold as rags, they put out things that are in good condition.

Huge fan of thift stores. I find so many vintage electronics, records, and cool vintage men's clothing it isn't funny. People with a good eye could actually make a good amount of money from thrift items that could be used to pay for disney trips. Happy hunting.

It's half off day at Savers. Yesterday was half off day with the club card. I wanted to go then but we had a storm so I went today instead. It's really cold out so it wasn't as busy as half off days usually are.
My big find for the day is a pair of knee high, black leather Gucci boots. $9.99

I literally just did this with my girl scout troop for their money manager badge! I had each girl go through the store creating an outfit for under $10. They loved showing us the awesome crazy looks they came up with, and many moms later told me they went back to the goodwill to buy the outfits their daughters put together.
