Stop it already. You're making me cry.

Yes it was a klenex kinda of show. But I enjoy Extreme Home MakeOver and Town Hawl better. I was so glad to see that little girl Abby was able to have that surg.

....before I was bawling my eyes out! I loved it and hope that it lasts. I like the idea of many smaller gifts being given...thereby enriching more lives than those of just one family. Don't get me wrong, I love Extreme Home Makover, I am just glad that lost of wishes in Senora were able to be fulfilled.

I liked this show, but like you I especially loved that they did nice things for so many people and that the whole town is benefiting from the new football field!

And, yes I did cry my eyes out!

I enjoyed the show, also. Did make me cry as well, esp. the girl with the head injury and surgery and the other wish of the woman's bf legally adopting her son. That was so cool to have the legal adoption process done at the carnival.
In a way, I was happy this show was not just about Amy Grant only. Don't get me wrong, I like Amy's music, esp. from the '80s. My dh and I thought from the promos this was going to be all about Amy doing this and that and singing about 10 songs on the show. I was so glad to see it wasn't all about her, but about regular, normal people, to help with the wishes.
My dh and I are still mourning her divorce from Gary Chapman and her marriage to Vince Gill.
Sometimes I feel Amy is too much on a pedestal in Christian and secular music, but I'm glad to see she is not on a pedestal on this show, that it is focusing on real people needing help.

I only saw a few minutes of it, but it looked like they were really trying to make people cry. Just the little bit that I saw was of the father who'd was adopting a new son, and most of the shots were of people wiping away tears.

I watched 3 shows in a row that made me cry...geesh! I tuned into Ghost Whisperer...sobbed at the end...then Three Wishes...sobbed again...and then Inconceivable...the show was good, but one scene just broke my heart towards the end.

I don't watch Extreme Home Makeover as it butts heads on the tv schedule with Charmed (diehard Charmed fan here!), so I have nothing to really compare Three Wishes too. But I can say that I really enjoyed the fact that they don't just focus everything on ONE family. It was wonderful to see so many people having wishes granted! My heart ached for Abby's family...so hapy to see that she got to have the surgery and that she's well on her way to recovery. It warmed my heart to see her swimming! The stepfather who got to adopt the little boy...that was wonderful! And of course everyone's gonna cry when watching the last bit with them. It was just very touching to see that he cares so much for this family and how much they care for him as well. And the football field was awesome too!

I didn't realize that there would be more people involved than just Amy Grant. Any of the commercials I saw leading up to it really focused a lot on her. I was shocked to see Carter from Trading Spaces on there! I like him waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Ty Pennington anyway...lol.

I've already declared that Friday night will be "girl tv" night. My DH is thrilled...lol...that's ok, he can do his homework while I sob in front of the tv on Fridays anyway! ;)
