Aquariums - I miss having one at home, but they are a lot of work and messy. Still, the sounds of the water and watching the fix (even though I had more aggressive ones) was really relaxing.

Baths - I miss the tub in our old house. It was one of those oversized jetted ones. It was so calming and relaxing. This house had tiny bathrooms and we could only fit a small jetted tub in the one, but it’s still nice.

Rain - As long as it’s not flooding rain, I love rain. I love gloomy skies and the smell of it. It’s very soothing.

I always had freshwater. My last one was a breeding colony of African cichlids. I’ve always wanted a saltwater tank, but triggers are my favorite. While I understand that they are pretty resilient tank occupants, they aren’t known for playing well with others. One day…maybe.

Prayer and also resetting a moment by thanking God for whatever is going on and my being able to by my faith talk with Him.

My new humidifier helps with rest as it works wonderfully to moisten the air in this dry apartment.

Watching a good movie or reading an enjoyable book can be most relaxing indeed.

I always had freshwater. My last one was a breeding colony of African cichlids. I’ve always wanted a saltwater tank, but triggers are my favorite. While I understand that they are pretty resilient tank occupants, they aren’t known for playing well with others. One day…maybe.

3 Calming Things I am grateful for:

1. I found these “healing” videos with a particular frequency on YouTube when I was going through my cancer treatment. I don’t know if they helped heal anything, but I find them very calming, and that certainly helps!

2. Lately I’ve been listening to piano versions of Disney tunes. Very calming, especially while I am doing bills or other fun stuff like that.

3. I make up simple mantras while I breathe slowly to counteract my anxious thoughts. It doesn’t help during a panic attack, but it does help when my mind is too noisy and needs to settle down.

Good Sunday Morning!

I’m going to go with a car theme for this……

#1 - Heated Seats - One of my most favorite add ons ever for my car. I’ll take my heated seats over automatic windows.

#2 - Remote Start - My second favorite add on. I’ve had a remote start for so long, that I can’t imagine a winter without it.

#3 - 5 Disc CD Player - This was in one of my old mini vans, and I was so grateful for it at the time. I had all the girls kiddie CDs in it all the time - we listened to a lot of Disney, Barney, The Wiggles and so much more. Ask me what song was on the radio in the early 2000s and I couldn’t tell you, but ask me to sing a Wiggles or Barney song and I’ll be able to do it - LOL!
I miss CD players in cars today. I’m actually thinking about buying a portable one to use when I’m driving 2 1/2 hours each way to visit DD21. I miss listening to my Disney CDs

HEATED Seats !! & Heated steering wheel !!! Best features ever !!!
Driver assist package - comes with a lot of things - some people hate it not me I love all the features !!!
I always upgrade on my tires and front end alignments to life time packages for vehicles or that set of tires - this way I get the most bang for bucks !!! With all the pot holes it’s a good deal for both Items I’ve got my moneys worth on several vehicles !!

Headbands when I need to make my hair look neat quickly

A few favorite pairs of earrings

Way too many bags/purses - but I enjoy changing them every so often

I like slo and WDWEPCOT's car themed answers and will go along with that.

Yes to the heated seats and steering wheel!! I once thought who really needs a heated steering wheel. Boy, was I wrong.
I also have the ventilated seats and those sure are nice in the summer.

Moon roofs. I will never get another vehicle without one. I like the extra light that comes in from the top. When I get into a car without one I kinda feel like I am in a cave.

Rain activated windshield wipers. I can just leave it on intermittent and never have to think about it.

Bonus - The car has a G Force gauge which is just a fun gadget. I reset it before my DS19 takes it for a drive to see how "much fun" he is having driving on the roads with lots of curves.

1. Fun necklaces - I'm not always the best at putting things together, so I love it when ads or stores have outfits put together already!

2. Earrings - I tend to wear smaller ones, but I love the fun bigger ones sometimes too!

3. Wristlets - I love just carrying a small wristlet when we go out somewhere instead of a big bag - much lighter and if I leave it on my wrist, I can't forget it somewhere!

my seats do that cooling thing and I’m like heck NO I’ll be sitting going why am I so cold??? I’m the only person in the world that will run heated seats in the summer!!! I do not ever run the cooling!!! Even when the car is like 1000° nope I’m good!!

I wish mine were truly cooled. Mine are ventilated. They still provide a cooling effect, but it’s not as noticeable as truly cooled seats.
