Three British things . . .

My ancestors - I am working on my genealogy, and have traced one part of the family back to England in the 1600’s

Cadbury chocolate - not the sub standard Hershey’s stuff we get here in the US, but the real thing. There is no comparison

Music - Listening to the coronation music earlier today, I was reminded of all the great British music from classical to 21st century. Good stuff!

You know I really hate autocorrect - it does it after you type and then you look stupid !!!

How cool about tracing your family ! I It’s always so interesting !! I traced my family name back to William The Conqueror !! I love doing that !!! So much history with our families - we can’t always get it and keep it !!

Good Morning :flower3:

This is a hard one for me! I do love the family shares so far, thank you, Friends.

1 An English Friend named Jen from choir.
2 Children's Author Linda Chapman who wrote the My Secret Unicorn Series.
3 English Veterinarian Alfred Wight aka James Herriot!

(Fri, 5/5) and come up with 5 things we're grateful for (Opt. in Fives)
(I totally Googled and/or stole most of this, lest you think I just had these in my head)
1. The five senses
2. My mom's birthday is 5/5 (I know. Not in fives, but I had to mention it!)
3. Five members of my immediate family growing up
4. Vowels (The main ones, at least)
5. The five food groups

(Sat, 5/6) - 3 British things you're grateful for
(Google and/or stealing for the win. Again.)
1. Chocolate
2. The British accent
3. The scenery

Happy Sunday!

#1 - I’m grateful for DD19 - we have THE BEST laughs together - she always can make me laugh. I can hardly wait for her to be home - I miss her so much. I also can hardly wait for our girl’s trip in one month now - so excited! Then after we’ll start planning the next one when Tianna’s Bayou Adventure opens (Tianna is DD19’s favorite princess)

#2 - I’m grateful for my friend and fellow assistant coach when our DDs were on the same travel softball team - I can’t even begin to say how many laughs we shared from 2015-current, We would just look at each other in a situation and start laughing because we knew what the other was thinking. I miss seeing him all the time now that our girls are older, but we still talk on the phone, and we still have good laughs.

#3 - I’m grateful for my boss, who is one of the funniest people I know - we laugh a lot every single work day,

1 Sound of children laughing and playing
2 Memories of Champ doing his popcorn or scrambled egg dance

3 Memory that just came to mind of the laughter my grandma and I shared years ago when popcorn cascaded out of our hot air popper. The same thing happened years after that with my dad and I. Shared popcorn funny moment that also reminds me of Champ.
