Today's Topic (Tues 12/13) - 3 green things you're thankful for
Green grass to walk through in bare feet, I love the soft luxury of the way the full blades collect underfoot to offer a cushion or sometimes how they mesh to make a soft cozy mattress for watching the sky on a nice day.
Green leaves on a tree give me shade or shelter from rain or snow, they offer birds and squirrels safety from predators and grant a serene sound when a breeze gathers within them and ruffles them softly.... makes me feel dozy just thinking about it.
Also adore green limes, green salads and for candy, it is green Skittles all the way.

Hey everyone - I'm taking a super quick break from work.

Green things - the color of so many living things outside.

#1 - I'm grateful for my Christmas trees this time of year - they are filled with so many memories of past Christmas's.

#2 - I'm grateful for my green eyes - I love green eyes, and they go very well with my red hair - LOL!!

#3 - I'm grateful for all the green trees in the forest next to my house - the most beautiful birds and cool owls live in them.

I always intend to reply to this thread, but these December days get away from me. I am going to do a few that I’ve been thinking of:

Disney:

DVC—so many awesome trips
Memories—some of my best memories of the family I came from and the family DH and I created are centered around Disney
Movies— I am not a big movie person, but I love many of the Disney movies and have enjoyed them with my children over the years

J things:

1. Oldest DD Jxxxxxx
2. Jammies—stealing this one from others, but often the best part of the day is putting Jammie’s on.
3. July—almost always a vacation month for us—usually very late July so often runs into August

Green Things
1. Oldest DD’s eyes—a very pretty green
2. Emeralds—my birthstone
3. Christmas trees and garland—making my house look festive right now

My eyes are hazel with green, too. My beloved late grandma was the only other immediate family member with hazel eyes. Everyone else has brown. Grandma will always be the person I think of as my mom, that's one more special connection we share.

Evergreen, Christmas Tree God brought into my life and that of my dad way back in 2014. God's Grace has allowed dad and I to tend to Evergreen over the years and He continues to grow His tree so green and healthy. I will post a current picture when we next take one.

Green has always been one of my very favorite colors along with pink.

J:
1. Family members I adore
2. Joy
3. Jellybeans, especially the purple ones

Green:
1. The color lime green which is one of my favorite colors especially paired with pink and white.
2. Evergreen trees
3. Green organic apples which make the most delicious pie

Today's Topic (12/14) - 3 things you're grateful for begging with the letter T

1. Taco salads
2. Turkey, my favorite lunch meat
3. Tough love, without it my kids wouldn't be the smart, independent adults they are today. They got plenty of regular love, but got the other whenever it was really necessary.

Good Morning DIS Friends

Thoughts about T…..

#1 - I’m grateful for the place me DD19 has trained at since 11yrs old, worked at for 3 years and now I work one day a week at (this place starts with a T). This place, the owner and others are a huge contributor to her softball success. It’s also been an awesome first job for her that has taught her many valuable life skills in regards to working.

#2 - I’m grateful for today every day. Even if the day totally sucks…I’m alive and I’m breathing.

#3 - I’m grateful for my Toyota RAV4 that I got this year. The car has been so perfect for me now that I don’t require a mini van anymore.

ETA......I did not center everything. Maybe ELF on a Shelf is in charge of the DIS lately with all the wacky things going on - LOL!!

🎄 Trees 🌳 - (Inspiration for today's topic, because I was looking at my Christmas tree when I posted earlier - but also grateful for the climbing tree I used to read in as a kid, and that trees produce oxygen)

🕒 Time - the most precious commodity we have

🍵Tea - soother of the sick, warmer of the cold, and general civilizing factor

And bonus - one of my cats' names begins with T. She is super loving and has a wonderful loud purr, and I am grateful for her (and her sister) every day! :cat: :cat:
